Daphne’s Story
From daily back pain to pain-free movement and confidence.
Daphne came to GO! with one clear goal: to finally get rid of the back pain that affected her every single day. Through awareness, consistency and expert guidance, she transformed her relationship with movement and her quality of life.
Her Goal
Daphne wanted one thing: to get rid of her back pain. Even small daily activities caused discomfort, and by the end of each day she often struggled with heavy pain.
Starting Point
She experienced strong lower-back pain after minimal physical effort. This made daily life unpredictable and uncomfortable, and she felt limited in what she could do without triggering the pain.
Our Approach
We started by building awareness, identifying every trigger and mapping her pain through a daily pain log and activity diary. Daphne also learned how to keep her lumbar spine neutral during movement, reducing unnecessary strain.
She performed her activation and movement routines multiple times per day, and this consistent self-care accelerated her progress enormously.
The Process
Daphne made progress quickly. Her commitment was exceptional, she tracked her pain daily, executed her routines every day, and showed up ready to learn. This steady consistency is what drove her transformation.
The Result
Her primary goal was achieved: she is nearly pain-free. She recently spent six weeks abroad and only experienced mild pain once — a helpful reminder to stay aware and apply her routines.
Now, we're building a strong foundational system so she can take on more activities pain-free and with confidence.
Next Step
Daphne now trains once per week with us and performs two strength workouts independently to keep progressing.
Daphne’s Words
I first came to Teun because of back pain from a herniated disk, and since training with him my pain has decreased drastically. He not only helped me strengthen my body, but also taught me how to recognize and manage pain so I can prevent it in the future.
